Associate Lawyer

Seeking Associate Lawyer to assist in firm’s representation of lenders and servicers in real estate litigation cases, creditor bankruptcy matters, evictions and REO closings throughout the state of Florida. We also represent buyers, sellers and lenders in residential and commercial real estate closings throughout the state of Florida. Candidate must possess a Florida bar license. Attorney will be responsible for prepare all pleadings including complaints, motions, affidavits and judgments as well as contested files including depositions, discovery, hearing coverage and trials. Attorney must be eager to learn. Compensation depends on experience. Experience in creditor bankruptcy and real estate closings a plus. Please submit a resume and include your salary requirements.

Bankruptcy Paralegal

The candidate will be responsible for working on Creditor Bankruptcy files in mortgage foreclosure context, including, but not limited to: opening files in Case Aware, checking LPS, Bankruptcy/Pacer Searches, preparing Transfer of Claims (TOC), Proof of Claims (POC) and related notices, Motion for Relief from Stay. Bankruptcy litigation experience a plus.

Foreclosure Paralegal

The candidate will be responsible for working on Plaintiff Mortgage Foreclosure litigation files, including, but not limited to: ordering title commitments, preparing draft Mortgage Foreclosure Complaints, Motions for Default, Notice of Dropping, Motion for Summary Judgment and other pleadings, e-filing pleadings, e-serving pleadings, setting hearings, communicating with clients in Tempo, LPS and other client systems and communicating with Opposing counsel. Experience with Tempo, LPS, Case Aware and Time matters a plus.

Foreclosure Legal Assistant

The candidate will be responsible for working on answering phones, opening files in Case Aware, our practice management system, ordering bankruptcy and military searches, mailing letters, ordering title commitments, e-filing pleadings, e-serving pleadings, setting hearings, communicating with clients in Tempo, LPS and other client systems and communicating with Opposing counsel. Experience with Tempo, LPS, Case Aware and Time matters a plus.

Real Estate Closing Paralegal

The candidate will be responsible for working on real estate closings from beginning to end, including, but not limited to: reviewing the real estate contract, ordering title search, ordering lien search, ordering estoppel letter, communicating with lenders, communicating with real estate agents, requesting payoffs, preparing Closing Disclosure or HUD1 settlement statements, preparing closing documents, e-recording and issuing owner’s and lender’s policies. Candidate MUST have experience working with the Attorney Title Fund and E-Closing/Double Time.

Experience with Plaintiff Mortgage Foreclosure litigation files also a plus as candidate may be asked to assist with other practice areas within the firm, including, but not limited to: ordering title commitments, preparing draft Mortgage Foreclosure Complaints, Motions for Default, Motion for Summary Judgment and other pleadings, e-filing pleadings, e-serving pleadings, setting hearings, communicating with clients in Tempo, LPS and other client systems and communicating with Opposing counsel. Experience with Tempo, LPS and Time matters a plus.
