As Practice Group Leader of Foreclosure, Litigation, and Real Estate Closings, Ashland provides strategic guidance to the firm’s attorneys and staff while continuing to actively represent clients in complex and high-stakes real estate matters.
Ashland joined Howard Law in March 2025 after successfully running her own firm—Ashland Medley Law, PLLC—for over a decade. Throughout her career, she has represented mortgage servicers, private lenders, and real estate investors in contested mortgage foreclosure actions, title litigation, appeals, evictions, real estate closings, and other civil litigation. Since 2010, she has been recognized for her exceptional skill in complex litigation, her creative problem-solving strategies, and her ability to achieve successful resolutions through innovative settlements.
Ashland has earned major success in appellate defense and highly contested non-jury trials, and is regarded as trusted counsel to many private lenders nationwide.
A proud graduate of Florida State University (B.S., 2008) and Florida Coastal School of Law (J.D., 2010), Ashland is an active member of the Florida Bar, the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, and is a Title Agent for The Fund (Attorney’s Title Fund Services). Despite her team’s record, she remains a proud FSU fan — Go Noles!
Outside of her professional life, Ashland has a strong faith and is deeply dedicated to her family. She is the proud wife to Andrew, a local police sergeant, and mother to three wonderful children—Hayden, Nathan, and Gavin.
